There are a number of ways the next step in a Sequence can be affected when the Sequence is paused, then un-paused:

**Scenario One:** If the Sequence is paused and next step is scheduled to run immediately, it will fire at the next 10 A.M. run based on the timezone set in the account.

**Scenario Two:** If the Sequence is paused and next step is scheduled to run immediately, but with a 15, 30, 45 minute or 1 hour delay after the previous step, it will run at approximately that time. Queuing the message may take an additional 15 minutes.

**Scenario Three:** If the Sequence is paused and the next step fires after X number of days, it will run after the select number of days (not counting the days the Sequence is paused) at the next 10 A.M. run if set to run Immediately. If a specific time is set, such as 7 A.M., it will fire at the next 7 A.M. run.

**Scenario Four:** If the Sequence is paused and next step is scheduled to run Immediately after X number of days but with a 15, 30, 45 minute or 1 hour delay, it will run after the select number of days have passed (not counting the days the Sequence is paused) but 15, 30, 45 minutes or 1 hour after the next 10 A.M. run based on time zone set in the account. Queuing the message may take an additional 15 minutes.
